Dr Mahathir Receives Registration Certificate For Yacht 'Apanama'
LANGKAWI, May 7 (Bernama) -- Former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad on Thursday received the registration certificate for his yacht "Apanama".
Hahahaha... Tun should register this Apanama as a trademark for him too!
Note - Apanama will be use by Tun when he try to remember something. Correct me if i'm wrong.
Later, when asked by reporters why he chose to name his vessel Apanama, the usually outspoken Dr Mahathir smiled, his sense of humour showing.
During his days as Prime Minister, he was known to punctuate his sentences with “apanama”.
The phrase later became associated with him and used by both friends and foes to describe him.
